What excuses do the CPJ lovers make now?

And here I was thinking our entire roster was made up of HS players who chose to play here.

Loss was on special teams and defense. 38 points wins any game with a somewhat decent defense.

Offense completely disappeared in the 4th qtr. When we needed to answer, the only answer was a TO and some laughable "passes".

And with this defense, 38 pts is NOT enough. We have an alleged "offensive genius" as HC. Why did the Genius take out the red-hot Oliver with the game on the line???

First, I’d be ecstatic if we could get a defensive HC and keep PJ at OC.

Second, y’all act like coaches know defense and offense. That just isn’t the case. Look at the top programs: Saban is defensive minded, Urban is offensive minded, Dabo really isn’t great at either...

It comes down to recruiting and having organizational help, and that takes money and commitment from leadership.

PJ has done more with what we’ve got than any other coach. All y’all acting like we are one HC away from championships are ööööing crazy.

Being a successful coach in today’s game in 75% management, organization and work ethic, and only 25% football. PJ needs to be silo’d into offense and th we need a management minded person to be the CEO of the program.

I’ll defend PJ. He’s not great at defense or special teams, but our offense kicked ass this game. It showed significant improvement from last game.

Our most reliable player fumbled in the 4th when we were clearly going in to score. Otherwise we win.

Our special teams suck. Otherwise we win.

We had flat out ööööty calls made against us. Otherwise we win.

That’s pretty much it.

So the O scoring 0 pts when we needed it to - not CPJ's fault?

I still like Paul, I still like the offense he runs. I think he’s a great coach. I’m worried that replacing him will result in some Bill Lewis years. But unless we can turn this around...

We've had one L**** year with CPJ already and may be facing another one. How can it get much worse than losing to a öööö school like USF?
