What excuses do the CPJ lovers make now?

I’ll defend PJ. He’s not great at defense or special teams, but our offense kicked ass this game. It showed significant improvement from last game.

Our most reliable player fumbled in the 4th when we were clearly going in to score. Otherwise we win.

Our special teams suck. Otherwise we win.

We had flat out ööööty calls made against us. Otherwise we win.

That’s pretty much it.
Correction: our offense was great until we had to have it, last 5 minutes, then it sucked.

kicking game? It’s Paul Johnson’s team.

Defense? It’s his team

Offense? Once again it disappears in the fourth quarter

I’m so sick of watching this team. Nothing exciting about it. His recruiting sucks. His game management sucks. Boring offense. No pass game.

Hey GSUTalon. Care to tell us again how great Johnson was at GSU?

Well lets see -GT over 600 yards of total offense & 38 points. It was not the offense today it was the "D". The special teams gave up 14 points.

He MAY, MAY, MAY be a good O coach (definitely not great. He can’t even get a QB).

But he sure as heck is NO HC. No accountability, doesn’t care about motivating players, about S/T, about D, about being the face of the program, is arrogant.

Again, don’t know what people are watching or what they are surprised about.
This is absurd.

Our offense played great in the last five minutes then. We would’ve scored our last drive but the refs didn’t flag the defense for 12 men on the field the last play of the game.

We had a drive that unfortunately stalled due to a holding penalty. That sucks but that’s what happened. But the rest of the half, and almost the entire game, our offense kicked ass.

I’ll take 35-40 points every game. And I imagine there will be a lot of folks that feel the same when PJ is gone

Clemson signee Mike Bellamy has created a stir by posting this picture on his Facebook page. According to a report by Travis Sawchik Bellamy said the photo was a joke. The Clemson coaching staff reportedly asked him to remove the picture from his page.

up 10 in the 4th.
Up 3 in the 4th.
Down 4 in the 4th.

We shat the bed every one of those times. It's a trend now, not an anomaly.
You weren’t watching the 1st
You weren’t watching the 2nd
You weren’t watching the 3rd
You were watching the 4th.

The mathematical truths say that, if you die, we will never lose another game.

We were right in the middle of one that would have put the nail in the coffin, and Searcy fumbled. That's not on playcalling and it's not on CPJ for putting Marshall back in. öööö just happens. You aren't gonna score every time you get the ball.

I agree that we haven't been able to punch it in when we needed to the past couple years, though. Hopefully we reverse that trend soon.

Agreed though it's both sides of the ball that just can't make The Play that'd win it. It's troubling, given how often it happens to us. UT fumble, Miami pass, UVA, USF today - that's just the past 2 years. Conversely, when's the last time we've made a play to win? Gotta go back to 2014.

at some point, something's gotta give, right?

Weakness. My not-watching doesn't change the fact that our STs were historically bad. That's the first game I've ever seen a team give up 2 KO Return TDs.

But go ahead - make another lame "If you didn't see it in person, you can't complain!!" comment. That really strengthens your argument.
:eekfacepalm:
