Was the WR coach with Collins at UF. Mullen cleaned house when he got there so he has most recently worked as an RB coach at UT (Toledo).

I'm starting to see his name pop up all over the GT forums/fb groups. Don't really know much about him.

So if I followed a reporter around and stole his information and reported it myself in order to boost my own profile without ever creating any of my own sources, that would be cool? At a bare minimum it's a serious asshole move.

Under your logic, Bob Woodward and Bob Woodward alone would be the only one ever allowed to report on Watergate.

Why is he an asshole? I don't know who he is, other than I'm guessing he is ramblinwreckreport? If he's such a thorn in the "insiders" sides, they can block him from their platforms and cut off his source, or rework their business model to make him less of an issue. If he's literally just an assholish personality though, well then ok.
 
Sports reporters have no incentive to report stuff – develop sources, investigate leads, uncover stuff – if they don't get paid for it. I don't understand why people hate them for trying to satisfy a market demand. The disintegration of the traditional journalism business model is very well documented and I'm sure understood by everyone here. Why we can't see that we – sports fans – lose something when there's no effective way to monetize our interest in detailed sports news? If this dude steals stuff from KQ, then KQ will stop reporting. I guess whether that bothers you depends on whether you think KQ's adding anything of value to GT fandom.
 
I have no interest in KQ's content just because anything significant to the program becomes public knowledge before long, but I also have no problem with him doing what he does and respect that he's able to do so by virtue of that certain percentage of fans who ARE inclined to pay for such content. I think it's lame that someone would deliberately set out to sabotage his business, and if that's what this Guyton guy is doing, he deserves to be called out for it.

I'll still take occasional shots at KQ on here, because I want to fit in. I can't hang out at your collective mom's house all day.
