El Paso changes people, don’t hold it against him.I offered Bud Peterson a hot dog at my El Paso Sun Bowl tailgate in 2011. He turned it down.
öööö that guy

What does BarrelORum have to do with this?Good luck getting anything past the BoR that would make attendance skyrocket at games.
Who are our peers; public schools like Tennessee Tech or Louisiana Tech? Or do we more closely resemble private schools like Cal Tech or MIT? I don’t think we are a typical land grant college like aTm or Awburn.60% is too low IMO for a public state school. Should be 75% and up...
I pulled my data from the University System of Georgia website:Fake News.
32% of undergrad students are from OUT of state.
12% are international.
I think you greatly underestimate the talent coming out of Georgia High Schools!Who are our peers; public schools like Tennessee Tech or Louisiana Tech? Or do we more closely resemble private schools like Cal Tech or MIT? I don’t think we are a typical land grant college like aTm or Awburn.
DOUBLE DAWGS BS + MS
Jeff Duncan, Kemp's Lt Gov, is a GT grad, isn't he? Guess we'll find out how true to GT he is when the time comes to lobby for his alma mater. The BOR and Brian Kemp are going to pick their guy and it will not be in the best interest of Georgia Tech.
Y'all are the ones that voted for Kemp. The BOR and Brian Kemp are going to pick their guy and it will not be in the best interest of Georgia Tech.
No. I just meant state schools in general. Not technical only. My point is for a state school funded by GA tax payers, i would hope to have more in state enrollment. We turn down alot of qualified Ga kids each year.Who are our peers; public schools like Tennessee Tech or Louisiana Tech? Or do we more closely resemble private schools like Cal Tech or MIT? I thought they were just offering Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. It didn't take long to water down the state did it?
Whether or not it’s true, the problem with going to uGA for engineering is that you’ll spend the rest of your career being asked why you didn’t go to GT. You better come up with a good answer that doesn’t involve the attractiveness of co-eds, the frequencies of parties, or the SEC.When i see uga engineering stickers on cars I see a vehicle driven by someone who was rejected by Tech.
They also offer a BS + MBA 5 year degree. That’s a terrible idea.I thought they were just offering Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. It didn't take long to water down the state did it?
TLDR: uga durrrrrrrrrThey also offer a BS + MBA 5 year degree. That’s a terrible idea.
1. MBA + no experience = too qualified for entry level but not qualified for management level
2. BS + MBA from the same school = single alumni network. An MBA from another school gives you 2 alumni networks.
3. BS from a 2nd tier school + MBA from a second tier school = weak resume. If you have a 2nd tier BS, you need to try to elevate your grad school prestige. You’re branded by the best brand school you attend. BA from DeVry + MBA from Harvard makes you a “Harvard man.”
UGAg is like the menu at Chili's. Yeah, there's lots of choices, but 3/4 of it's crap. Maybe 2 or 3 things are actually good. Tech is like Kevin Rathbuns. We do steak. That's what we do. And it's high class and damn good. They also offer a BS + MBA 5 year degree. That’s a terrible idea.

I’d say uga is more like S&S Cafeteria.UGAg is like the menu at Chili's. Yeah, there's lots of choices, but 3/4 of it's crap. Maybe 2 or 3 things are actually good. Tech is like Kevin Rathbuns. We do steak. That's what we do. And it's high class and damn good.
