I'm curious as to whether he meant no contact from the staff today, recently, or at all. Regardless, it sounds like it's for the best for both parties that he go elsewhere at this point anyway.

Staff may be allowing him to save face and still have time to land somewhere. A kinder, gentler way of saying it's a new world order and your ticket was for the old world.

I’m not wondering anything at all. If this staff doesn’t want him I trust them.

He loves Collins so he could help us
Tarant was part of the 2007 dream class I believe. Seems like they all loved Collins. What’s really funny about that is I read for years on the Hive it was Giff Smith who made that happen but the more you watch Collins and listen to guys like Roddy Jones and Kyle Jackson, it sure seems like it was mostly Collins.

It was Collins . . . until he left for Bama and people on the Hive got butthurt. Then it was all Giff Smith. I'm sure Giff played his part too.

Back when I was lurking on here and bbuzzoff or w/e during my student years (03-07) and afterwards, I seem to recall the same experience

Larry Dowdy was getting beat pretty badly at one of the football camps. Seems like our current coaching staff knows what’s up.

The two coolest places on earth are an electric GT football game at night. And Waffle House.

He was a commit and Stansbury told all commits that their offers would be honored. This kid actively decided not to sign. Seems like he played himself.
Or he was waiting to see if this staff was interested. His offer would have been offered, but he may have never seen the field. If the staff wasn’t showing him any interest to keep him, sounds like it’s best for all.
