Future Games at MBS

West Virginia will play Florida State on Sept. 5 and Georgia will meet Virginia on Monday night, Sept. 7.

I would rather play ND at MBS. I was told ND. Clemson I guess will be that Thursday night. Maybe Sunday night I guess.

The "televised on ESPN or ABC" thing is a little weird - is there any chance that ABC would carry this game on Thursday/Sunday night? Aren't they usually just Saturday games?

I still think the impact on recruiting will be greater for us than for Clempsen.

There's a reason the factories love these neutral site games in Atlanta. We already play in Atlanta. We don't need games at MBS to play up that brand. Undoubtedly we are going to spin it that way but this is about revenue, period. These games always have huge upside for Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson etc.

Regardless of the advantages for Tech, Clemson was just given a huge gift that they didn't have to do anything for.

This wouldn't have happened if Bill Curry was Athletic Director.
I’m listening to ESPNU and they are about to have Bill Curry on. They just said, “there are fewer greater minds about football than Bill Curry.” Funny because I think most internet GT fans don’t think that highly of him. I guess a prophet is without honor in his own country.

Bet Curry has no idea when GT is playing at MBS nor whom in 2020. Lol

maybe Clemson will be able to go from #2 class to #1 with this game

You're right, our players (and perhaps more importantly, recruits) definitely don't want to play in the premier NFL stadium in the country at the moment. As much as I love BDS, the home field advantage isn't such that it's winning us games. Hopefully that changes as success comes, but this will help bring in recruits which will hopefully lead to more success. If that happens, we won't need the money or extra exposure and we can go back to not having to do things like this. Until then, open your eyes and get on board.

Anybody can "demand" anything.

And until we start winning vs them like we should, the media around here will try to validate the ugag whine.

Does not mean it will happen.

fsu tried to demand we play them in the Ga Dome. F em.

The ACC schedule is mandated and they can't demand where we play our home games just like we couldn't demand that we play Duke's home game with us in Charlotte. It seriously doesn't work that way. If we are negotiating an out of conference series with Alabama for example then they could ask for anything as part of the negotiation.

If it gives us a chance to make more money than at BDS and brings exposure to the program then it’s not stupid. I support.

Ideal situation if it is played in a prime time slot, perhaps Thursday or Saturday evening.

How can they possibly öööö up the audio this bad. Good grief. I swear we can't get out of our way sometimes .

Sounded like they just announced the 2020 game at MBS would be the ND game? AND confirmed no UGA games will be played at MBS

(watching on WSB-TV channel 2 stream on Facebook)

If these games are early September, I am all for it. BDS noon and afternoon games are too friggin hot in September.

Plus we make a lot more money I bet, plus we can use it to recruit with, etc. It is the Super Bowl and NCAA Championship Field after all that recruits would get to play on.

I think it could really amp up the Tech-Clemson game too and eventually we could possibly negotiate playing one at Tech, one at Clemson and one at MBS.
