Georgia State

What's the old saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I guess we should be honored. :rotfl:

In the absence of Tech doing anything to claim and make Atlanta its own, State has been trying to take that mantle with marketing and slogans etc for a while. Watching what Collins has been doing has got to sting.

I would call this flattery. Adorable.

GSU announces they will be starting a completely original tradition, in which they take the field behind a car they call the "Phrambling Phreck".

I've heard they have a new student called George G. Burdell who has multiple degrees. Of course, at Georgia State the degrees come from a vending machine, so that's not really a surprise.

On a side note...I was kind of disappointed Coach Curry invested time in GSU football. I’m not butthurt over it, it’s simply I can’t see a scenario where their practice grows and prospers.

The only noticable thing GSU has done in the last decade is take over the Ted.
they took over the Ted?
well, if Turner were still alive, he'd say, "Jane ... what the f... is a Georgia State?"

warning - the above contains amounts of TIC.

Maybe he considered it a ministry?

That's kinda funny...or, it would be, except GSU leads the all time series against GS 3-2, including 3 wins in a row from 15-17. But you knew that already.

Which one is GSU and which one is GS in your story?

Actually worked pretty hard for my GSU degree.
