Is he arriving this summer? Is he a full scholarship or PWO?

Film looks great.

Nice pickup. Hadn't heard about him in a while. I think we must have been waiting to see how many schollies we would have. Was committed to Vandy and had offers to Rice and Princeton. Also had an Arkansas and Mizzou offer, I think. So he has a good profile for us and obviously the measurables.

The Saban style roster build out... 2-3 inches taller at every position.
And leaner with better frames to build the right football way.

When he arrived at UAT, Saban found the OL/DL remains of the Three Mikes - Shula, Dubose & Stripper Price - who, if you were just looking at a printed roster, all had big numbers. But they all looked like this now near-70 year old TechEx. High % BF/BMI who were not mobile, agile or hostile. Compare that to the standard issue Bammer OL/DL today & it's men vs boys.

One winter of workouts & spring practice doesn't get you where you want to go, but it's a start. This is as much roster-shaping as anything else.

Recruiting a new breed of player. Turning over our undersized roster may happen quicker than we thought

"Exonerated"? What I read said he admitted to police to stealing stuff from a truck. Is that not true?

I'm not saying we shouldn't take him if he committed a crime.

I’ve read multiple things. One was he’s was with guys who stealing but not a participant to he stole and returned it. All i know is the charges were dropped

Kids can do stupid things for stupid reasons sometimes. That's what this sounds like to me.

The kid's got SO much going for him - athletic ability and smarts (including a Princeton offer).

Hopefully he'll make the best of this second chance.

I noticed he's a 5.3 now.

Was he a 5.7 earlier in the 2019 cycle?

Not that it really matters because he had some nice offers and we obviously wanted him.

Just curious.
Rivals does this illogical thing of designating you 5.3 you don’t sign after NSD. I assume they thought his legal issue would last a lot longer.

Yes he was 5.7 3* throughout the 2019 cycle.

For those who recruiting hasn’t changed with CGC from his predecessors look at the guys he signed or brought in via transfer

Clayton 5*
Ezzard 4*
Jamious Griffin 4*
Michael Lockhart 5.7 3* 6’5 250
Ahmarean Brown 5.7 10.4 100M sprinter
Kendall Young 6’5 215lbs LB 5.7 3*
Cornelius Evans 6’4 210 LB
Tyler Davis
Jared Southers

Not bad at all

If he learned from this, we benefited. We are doing a great job in finding quality transfers and available 2019 recruits.
I think that's the right answer. Plenty of good folks find themselves doing bad things. What makes them good is learning from them. A person's frontal lobe hasn't matured until around age 25. Statistics even on violent crimes in youth suggest most don't become criminals as adults, although of course they are certainly more likely than someone who didn't engage in criminal acts as a youth.
