Yep. I'm pulling for him. Hope being about the great group of men we have in our program will set his life in the right direction.
 
There are three things every defense needs. Cover corners. Pass rushers with length. War daddies in the middle. The rest give you flexibility, but if you don't have those three things, fugitaboutit.

None are easy to get.

We are raking in the cover corners and pass rushers. War daddies are the most rare at this level, and we are working on that.

The biggest diff between the high star recruits and medium star recruits often comes down to how college-ready their bodies are when they are rated. You get a guy with the length and frame to put on good weight, you will wind up with a 4-star at a 3-star price.

Don’t forget an undersized guy who’s a real student of the game. You know a leader in the locker room, scrappy and tough, and has a nose for the football. You can’t win without those guys, either.
