Just finished reading the comments in the r/cfb thread about it. Lots of optimism for year three and beyond, assuming major rebuild the first with a brutal schedule in the 2nd year of the transition. There will be a lot of dwag teeth gnashing as we get more and more positive press, and probably from others as we rightfully reclaim Atlanta.

Is the article about CGC or CPJ?
Positive reference to CPJ. OP left out bullet-point #1:

"1. Long live the triple option, and may Paul Johnson coach forever.

The limitations are obvious — recruiting difficulties, struggles to catch back up when you’re off-schedule, etc. — but the spread flexbone is a devastatingly efficient offense. And because Tech hired Johnson, we got more than a decade of clips of blue-chip defenders getting fooled, juked, or beaten.

The Yellow Jackets went to nine bowls in Johnson’s 11 years, won an ACC title and an Orange Bowl, and ranked in the Off. S&P+ top 50 every single year. They beat Clemson five times. They beat blue-bloods like Georgia, Florida State, USC, Miami, etc. There were fun moments."

I had a dream last night that BDS was turned into a lake. It was a pretty nice lake and everyone seemed to enjoy it. What does it all mean.

That article was kind to PJ or so I thought. It was very accurate and realistic but kind to both Johnson and Collins. Excellent research and well- written.
You and me both know the voice behind the article wanted cpj and the to to fail and never go to a bowl.

Son, let us go to the good book of Dodd:

Swaggeration 27:28 In the time of harvest following the retirement of Paul, champion of St. Nesbitt (peace be upon him, for he is the bad mother ööööer), the man who brings juice from the town of the virgin sightings and the monastery did triumph over the forces of evil. Kirby wept and his followers wept. The tears formed a lake and the holy ones in white and gold were pleased.

You're right, he is gone and people on both sides need to get over the butthurt created in both directions. Every comment is not a slight towards your triple option savior.

I have no idea who Bill connelly is but that was someone who knows GT and watched a lot of GT football. He also knows and appreciates both PJ and GC for what they do well.

Why do we need to keep taking shots at cpj when cgc hasn't even coached a regular season game, coming off a dissappointing season at temple? How was GT unsuccessful and irrelevant from 2008-2018? These are questions I can't answer.

The media hated cpj and will do what it takes to make his tenure look bad. Even with the 100 compliments, he found a way to in general make our program look like it was bad for those seasons. That is how you know someone is salty as öööö.

He must not appreciate CGC too much if he predicts there is a nearly 70% chance we lose to a non P5 team that lost 2 head coaches in the last 6 months.

The person who wrote that article loved PJ’s offense. If you can’t tell by reading that article, then you are blind. PJ also had a lot of flaws. If you can’t see that then you are blind. The article was well-written and was about GT. If you don’t love GT, then find another team. If you do love GT, then be excited about the future and hope CGC can have as much and hopefully more success than PJ.

He thinks we will be pretty bad this year especially on offense. He also thinks there is a good chance we are much better in November than in September.
