I've been saying it for years and I'm NEVER wrong:

On Dabo getting an extension in 2012:
Six of one, half dozen of the other if you ask me:

Tommy Bowden: 72–45 (Overall) 43–32 (ACC) 3-5 (Bowls) Ranked in Final Coaches Poll 4 of 10 years.

Dabo the Clown: 29–19 (Overall) 19–10 (ACC) 1-3 (Bowls) Ranked in Final Coaches Poll 1 of 4 years.

Ehhhh. Winning a weak ACC Atlantic twice counts for something I guess, but so does a 70-33 Orange Bowl loss where your players gave up on the team. His cheerleading sh1t will only go so far.
Rating coaches back in 2011:
Favorite - Mike London <-- UVA is going to be pretty solid here very soon. He is already starting to beat VPISU in the Tidewater recruiting battles and UVA is on the rise. I think VPISU will suffer as a result which makes me happy. Anyone who has lived in VA knows that VPISU fans are just as bad as the mutt fans.

Least Favorite - Dabo Swinney <-- He is a clown and CPJ owns him, but that Rah-Rah s**t is pathetic and it pains me to see a grown man act like such a moron.

Really? Outside of the two championships what has he really accomplished?
I’d never thought of it that way. You’re right he sucks more than a dyson in space.

Outside of whooping us lately. There isnt much to hate about the guy. He seems genuine and has kept the SEC from claiming more titles and keeping the ACC somewhat relevant.

That being said we need to kick his ass and prove that the ACC isn't a one trick pony. I think we can do that now, sooner than later.

Dabo is goofy but he's a great coach and manager. His age has probably helped him adapt to how you're supposed to recruit and coach kids now. Saban's more old school approach works for him but he has the benefit of having established his powerhouse and skill much before.

Anyone else think this clown is overrated?

He relies on his assistant coaches to do all the real work while he just stands on the sidelines clapping and praising God.

I’d like to see how he does without super high paid assistants. Dude was a ööööing WR coach before Bowden got fired. That’s about where he belongs. Promoted way over his level and has lucked into the school spending so much more money on recruits. I could probably coach that team to 11-12 wins a year with that staff and the money they spend.

He’s no Saban that’s for sure. Bama would be making a big mistake if they hired Dabo after Saban retires/dies.
Yeah, right. He is so stupid he knew exactly what he needed to do to get the program where they have it. The way you described dabo is almost exactly the same way Dodd had success. Hire great asst. coaches and get out of their way.

Thank God we have a HC now that knows these same things.

Your right, Dabo cannot hold CPJ’s clipboard. Many of the smart posters here knew that back as far as 2010. GT has intelligent fans who can do more than just count really well.

Dabo knew just enough to build a child care facility on campus. That’s the only really smart thing he did. The rest is done by his assistants.

I don't. Kirbs has coached at the highest level of the college football and has proven his X and Os strength.
This is factually incorrect.

Kirby has shown the ability to lose in essentially any situation.

He is a loser and anyone that chooses to play for him runs the real risk of turning into a loser, too.

Some of the dumbest head coaching you’ll ever see in college football -a pooch punt with no coverage and falling for a fake field goal-lonesome end combo trick play. This all while dressed out in Barney purple unis.

Dabo -BDS circa 2009
