but it was time for a change -especially since the architect of that system retired at the end of last season.

Can you imagine the state of the fan base had this not been the case? If he had hung around for the paycheck and made GT buy him out? I’ll always appreciate the way he conducted himself at the end because it lends itself so well to moving ahead with the program.

I'm still getting used to seeing a handoff, the RB run 4-5 yards for no gain or a loss of yardage. Before, if the BBack was moving forward, the LOS moved forward

That’s one of my main complaints with Paterdouche. If we’re going to be a “pro-style” team then we should absolutely be able to line up under center. No pro team exclusively uses the shotgun. It’s dumb.

I know there’s a large learning curve for all our offensive players, but we should still be able to line up under center and jam the ball forward for 1 yard.

I get that, I really do. But the 2007 class has been discussed in the media and Tech message boards since the get-go, to the point of it being almost mythical. Yet, I don't think I ever saw Geoff's name associated with that class until December 2018 when he was hired. We heard Giff Smith's name associated with putting this class together a lot, but never Geoff's.

Why was Geoff not given credit by anyone for the 2007 class until we hired him?
Idk but he found Derrick Morgan

If you're not joking, it's your fault we lost to Citadel, and you deserve to feel bad.
Actually, it’s my fault
Wore my blue hat for USF
Wore gold hat for Citadel. Didn’t know that hat had a loss in it

I still remember turning to my dad and daughter in the 3rd and saying "we might get 1,000 yards today". Like it was yesterday. I'm old
