Louisville: Not enough is being made of the job Scott Satterfield is doing in his first year at Louisville. That program hit rock bottom a year ago under Bobby Petrino, but Satterfield has got the Cardinals playing good ball. You could see it when they gave Notre Dame a scare in the season opener, and it was apparent yet again Saturday night in a road upset win over No. 19 Wake Forest — a team that was previously undefeated. It was a wacky game that ended 62-59 — but the Cardinals somehow were able to hang on and improve to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in ACC play. The trajectory of the Louisville program has flipped completely with Satterfield leading the way.

I watched us play them last year and didn't think they were more talented than us. Could it be ................................... coaching?

That’s 3x the number of wins. We keep that pace up in 2021, we win 9. Then it’ll really get fun in 2022 when we win 27 games.
Wrong. We’ll approach 15 as a limit.

In the cases of Louisville and UNC, they were pretty regularly bringing in strong classes under their old coaches. For whatever reason, those coaches (both who had been successful at times) completely lost their teams and they looked much worse than the level of talent they had. Their coaching transitions were simply a matter of getting talented players to play to the level they're capable of. Regardless of what you think about our new staff so far, it should be pretty clear that our transition entails a little more.

Louisville’s coaches and players quit last season. They are absolutely more talented than us.

Not sure y’all understand the purpose of this thread.

Why don’t you hang back for a while and just read.
