In spite of how one feels about him as our QB going forward, you have to give the kid his props for the way he came out and played today. After last weeks subpar performance, he showed today that right now he is the guy to lead the team. Didn't expect the big time bounce back this week as a RS-Fr, but impressed none the less. By far the team's, as well as his, best overall game this year, IMO.

I wish they call more throws to the TE and more short passes. We never throw to the RB?

Yeah, he was pretty good today, all things considered. Great sign for the future.

Have we run a screen play this year? Seems like the perfect play against the blitz.

He played well but still misses too many layups. He just isn't accurate enough to be a consistently good QB.

Without the RB blocking, not sure we'd be able to block long enough for a RB to get out of the backfield to a passing spot.

I also wonder if one factor is that teams tend to defend shallower passes against us assuming our line can't hold long enough for a deeper pass.

He played a nice first half but then missed a couple of easy passes on 3rd down in the 2nd half that killed drives, and killed our chances. I like his upside- and he’s still very young.

This is the key thing to remember. He may be streaky and make mistakes, but he has years left here to improve.
Yep. This season and off-season. Spring, Fall, another year of maturity and getting into the swing of college life - growing up - and he should be a changed man. Lots of potential there.

Graham gets my game ball today. Kid played his ass off in first half. Cooled off a bit in the second but he, like the OL in front of him, is improving as the season goes on.

Graham was very solid today. I'm proud to share the name James with him.

-GT fans about Joe Hamilton in 1997.
I dont remember anyone criticizing Joe Ham his freshman year plus that was before sting talk. I guess this was just a general rumbling around you in the stands you are referring to? I dont remember it. Regardless, Joe Ham was wayyyyy more accurate than Graham at this point in their careers so not sure if you are implying Graham has Joe Ham's skills?

We will see as our OL gets built how good Graham is. The difference between us and LSU, Clemson, Bama is they have monster OL and DL. We need a few of those. There is no telling how much of a difference Brandon Adams would have made to this team. Perhaps just having him in the middle is good for a win or two. He was going to be the best DL we had. I was excited about his signing coming out of high school. Huge loss for the team physically and huge loss for the team in his leadership role.

We will get there. It will take several years to transform the lines. We should be looking at being 15-20 pounds heavier per player across both lines 3 years from now, and much stronger.

It was frequent and loud. Hive, reporters, call-ins, etc.
