Current rap has passed me by, but its catchy and not bad compared to other stuff I have heard.

That's actually pretty good, and yeah I'd say that could probably be considered trap.

I would not consider this trap. Trap is melancholy, somewhat minimal, hard drums/808s and high hats, and speak about...trapping. There's some other main differences I'm not remembering off the top of my head but I'd consider "No Love" more Cloud Rap if you really want to classify it.

Look man, before someone sent me his Instagram story with his dwag girlfriend at the sec title game I would have been all over it eventhough it sounds like every generic song I’ve heard from kids who think being a hip hop artist is a career path. Best of luck to him, although I hope this is not his day job.

Give this a listen and you'll get the idea. There's some quality music in trap, just like any genre.

I will say Lucas sounds better than this öööö. Gucci Mane and the migos are a bunch of clowns.
