Gotta hand it to LSU. I did not see that coming.

And let's look at the bright side: the dwags were not in the conversation and don't figure to be in the conversation ever again.

the nightmare of the 2019 transition season is over.
No more debates about who is/should be the Tech coach.
Let's support the waffle eating hipster from Conyers and watch the trophy case grow starting in 2020.

Hipster?

Like they did on the first series of the game?
Missed the opening series. Saw more than a few short passes wide with lineman 7 yards down field. Not screens. It’s not just LSU though. It’s endemic in all of college football.

But it’s also SOP for rigged officiating. Call one early, call one late that way people can point to it being called. Don’t call any actual meaningful ones through the middle of the game.

Agreed...

Red Grange
Jim Thorpe
Gale Sayers
Earl Campbell
Bo Jackson
Jim Brown
Herschel Walker
Archie Griffith
Barry Sanders
Dick Butkus
Roger Staubach

That's a bizarre over-representation, IMHO.
Looks like it took one of the Top 11 of all time to keep Billy Lothridge from getting the Heisman.

But it does seem weird that the way that list is constructed it means that Roger Staubach was the greatest college QB of all time. I don't agree with that at all.

I think we can all agree the refs were horrible last night and likely caused a 21 point swing. That said, Joe out played Trevor, and that was the reason Lsu won.
I don’t think they caused a 21 point swing. Clemson had no business winning that game after the 2nd quarter.
