Friday night, April 10th, CGC announced on Packer and Durham this morning. Also CGC's birthday, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some birthday festivities along with the game.

Damn, spring break week for a lot of the Atlanta area schools. Already have plans to be out of town that week...

Oh, me too. I likely wasn't going to go anyway. I went last year and enjoyed it but it is hard for the family to get there on a Friday night.

Perfect day for us. Spring Break. Planning on going out of town that weekend but not Friday. My daughter enjoyed the game last year and my son is now obsessed with everything cars and everything georgia tech “buzz”. Can’t wait to take them.

Odd choice, but it's the spring game so who really gives a öööö, still though it will be the first one I've missed in years. Not exactly a stroke of marketing genius either to do it at a time when many kids won't be able to go. Well, at least not the ones who's parents 80K and can take them on trips (or offload them to someone else while the parents take a more fun adult trip).

At least the traffic driving from the suburbs should be lighter than usual since a lot of families will be out of town.

You rich people can’t go to local events because you’re so rich? I don’t get it.

No, we are rich enough to take our kids on trips away from Atlanta during the time that they are out of school, because that's the only time they can go, thus creating the scheduling conflict.

I'm thinking, "Hey loving family, let's not take that 7 day cruise through Caribbean that's already scheduled and paid for so
that we can instead attend the Friday night spring football game" would be a hard sell.
