They mad bro.....

He visited for a long weekend (figure of speech) but I think his "tree" is O'Leary.

Kirby started as a spore in Saban's öööö and grew from there always in the sweet, warm manure of Saban.into the mushroom that he is.

I've had a couple of reasonable Georgie fans tell me they like Collins and think he will do well.

What I've heard is they like Collins and hated the old offense so I can't tell if they actually like Collins or just like that Johnson is gone.

If we ever beat them for a recruit or two and/or win a game against, the hate will be strong.

Shout out to my boy George.

I blocked a kid into him and it knocked GOL over hard. Oleary immediately got up and started cussing. At first, I thought it was at me, but then I realized he was saying "How the f does an option linemen pancake you on a pass block 10 yards away from the QB??!"

This is the best news I've seen in a long time.

I smell fear.

We will be able to test both sides of that theory, and a lot sooner than most here believe in their hearts. Class of 21, for example, might win 3 of 4, a la during the O'Leary reign.

As far as beating them for recruits, most of the battles will be decided early, and the other school will simply never offer, and a few late decisions will be "He didn't have a REAL offer from us." But we'll cut into their recruiting pool. No question. They'll need those special messengers delivering packages in Texas and California, etc.

They act like the talent gap is insurmountable even though they continue to record multi-loss seasons often to teams that they have way out-recruited.

The talent gap is shrinking very quickly between us and them, and the size gap is shrinking even faster. The past few years the size disparity at just about every position has been incredibly noticeable but that's going to end pretty soon. You go back a few years and you see an undersized GT beating up on "top 5 recruiting classes" at uga most years. Between 2008-2016 most games were pretty close except for 2012.

Their friends in the SEC East are also starting to wake up a little bit. They no longer have the luxury of playing in the weakest P5 division. I think their national title window has likely shut. They can keep copying everyone around them (Saban, Collins, etc) but I just dont think I see it working out.

If GT wants to shrink the gap they need to be pulling in top 10 classes. #26 is a start however. It’s going to take time.

#26 is a helluva start. Least we forget, we've been living in the 50's, 60's and 70's for quite a while. Top ten is a lofty goal, but what seemed impossible a couple of years ago might be doable.

Top 25 every year will have us regularly playing for conference championships. It will also be short-lived, as any coach that can pull that off will leave for 3x what we can pay. I’ll take it, though.

There are medications you can take to help with your low self esteem

Maybe you should be treated for delusion. Collins has done a great job convincing everyone he wants to be here. Because I'm sure he does. The alternative was Temple. But if you think Tech is his dream job...
