Crazy finish as IU beats Penn State. Big 10 drooling announcers said the end of the game was a coaching clinic. Penn State scoring when they could have run out the clock and the IU squib kick that gave PSU the ball at midfield were bonehead calls.

I don’t understand how that ball could possibly have crossed the plane based on the direction it was heading in and where it touched the ground, but James Franklin is a jackass so I like the call.
If the ball touches the pylon it's a conversion, but it looked to me like the ball hit the ground first.

Indiana upsets No. 8 Penn State as Penix scores 2-point conversion by inches

Too close to overturn call on the field. It also looks like the nose of the ball may have cleared the end zone line before the ground/pylon. Good to see IU get the win that they previously let slip away

given the direction he is coming from and the fact his arm never comes backward how could it have cleared the end zone inside the pylon? That ball path would make zero sense.

It definitely did not clear inside the pylon. I think they called it good on the field and the review was not conclusive enough to overturn. It looks to me like the ball may have broke the plane before hitting the ground/pylon.
