Yes.

Gonna be interesting to see if this team can come together and win. Talent level has definitely gotten a jolt.

This is great news! Kudos on the staff for getting this guy in here. I'm very excited and optimistic about our o-line next year.

Question for the guys who understand team chemistry and what not. Is bringing guys in who kind of slide in at that top an issue with the younger guys who have been working their way up the ladder? Not suggesting we have an issue but I do think some personnel management skills might be needed to keep everyone on the same page.

Guys want to WIN. Anybody short of a major headcase inbound - and we've seen some of those over the years - who can help them do that is acceptable. Prove it on the field & guys will know. They may not LIKE it, their parents may not LIKE it, but we're looking at year three for CGC & need to WIN. Some guys left via the Portal, some came in through the Portal. IIWII.

Another poss impact ==> Norfolk State opted out of a Spring season for 2021. He prob just wants a chance to play. He won't go though Spring Practice, so he'll have the summer to figure it out & make it or not.

Competition is king.

Theoretically, yes. But I don't think we have anyone that is ensconced enough that they would be butthurt about this. Jordan Williams might stand to lose the most PT to him but Jordan still has 4 years of eligibility left so even if his pt is diminished he's still got a long career ahead of him. Also, there could be more attrition coming and this kid might could slide over to Guard.

Gibbs and Mason about to put up some major numbers.

Is there a “team rankings” list regarding all transfers? I’d guess GT would be #1 in the country. We are going to look completely different next year.

Thank you for the thoughtful answers to my question. I know we have some serious, however green, talent across the OL so just making sure we continue to operate as a cohesive unit.

I'll say it one more time: the offensive line is the most important unit on the team - I listened to Bobby Ross preach that every Friday morning at 6am and that's not a guy you want to argue with.

Yeah, I can’t imagine many, if any teams doing better than we did in the portal. Story of the offseason.

Probably overstating how great our transfers are. If you were re ranking these kids with stars,Cochran is probably the only 4/5 star type. Not sure how many others are high-high impact. Hopeful on this kid and ODU kid, buts it’s a step up in competition for them so we’ll see; they also missed a year playing altogether. The kicker is the only other instant improvement pickup, just based on need alone
