I watched a very short clip of him somewhere and got the exact same vibe I got when I saw a similar clip of the lineman from Australia who played on the DL and got a spearing call against the UNC qb - think he played for Denver - spacing on his name.

Anyway, I trust my gut on these things - I don't get that excited all that often about recruits. Call it a hunch.

What's the big fascination with Paula? He looks solid but wasn't that highly recruited. Are we just hoping he's the next Roman Reigns or something because they look similar?
Just wait and see, if you don't beelieve

I watched Paula's HS film. He had typical stuff to work out as an OL. He deserves to have a coupla years to do so without a monkey on his back.

Thank you for the thoughtful answers to my question. I know we have some serious, however green, talent across the OL so just making sure we continue to operate as a cohesive unit.

I'll say it one more time: the offensive line is the most important unit on the team - I listened to Bobby Ross preach that every Friday morning at 6am and that's not a guy you want to argue with.
Double naught, I like the way you are making sure. Please keep making sure.

Explain how one of Paul Johnson's undersize OL recruits be starting in year 3? :dunno: Sounds like our OL is in huge trouble if true.
Man you really go out of your way. It's not all black or white all the time. I feel like you're saying switching from a TO to Pro style especially the offensive line wasn't that big a deal. Did you not foresee this was going to be a task?

I keep hearing how terrible CPJ's recruits were, especially how bad his OL recruiting was, and how it was even worse than usual his last few years. They aren't even 6 foot tall. So do you not see how having one of them start, particularly at center, is a bad harbinger for year 3?

Cooper was easily the best OL we had CPJ's final season.

This is a typical GT fan thread. Get good news, find a way to whine like a middle school girl about it.
And I get busted for asking about team chemistry. Geez. Tough crowd.

Centers are typically the smallest players on the OL, no?

Where you get your teeth kicked in is having small tackles trying to pass block. That was the transition problem, not so much the center being a few inches under the target on " the chart"

Second, iiuc center is one of the positions that experience matters the most.
