Getting the athletes on campus is the first step. Now we need to sign them.

Tuitt was committed to us for a few days before the ND bags swayed his mom.
I forgot about him.

You did make me go back and look at his recruiting profile.

He was one of those mixed services 5 stars. He was 5 on Rivals and 4 on 247.

22nd overall on Rivals, 38th on 247, 31st composite. Didn’t have the 5th star on 247 but all the services agreed he was a stud.

We’ve had more high profile GA DLs take OVs to Tech than people seem to remember over the last 15 years. Although your point stands that I don’t think many 5* DLs have. I made a list awhile back if I can dig it up. Hopefully this one will buck the trend of whats been more or a less a polite nod to the local team.

Don’t care so much necessarily about the number of stars...
Just give me an Eric Henderson and another Greg Gaethers please.

we actually signed a number of 4 star DLs in the PJ era — Anthony Williams, JC Lanier, Francis Kallon, Denzel McCoy — but they got hurt (Lanier), got health problems (McCoy), had other issues (Williams) or just really didn't live up to the hype (Kallon).
We also right there at the end for some others. Dalvin Tomlinson comes to mind immediately.

247sports has the Glover kid as a big time FSU lean, tho.
ATL >>> Tally, however. So maybe that will help.

“It was beautiful. Probably one of the best campuses I have ever seen.”

If this is true keep him away from Stanford
Stanford is a different appeal. GT is a beautiful campus in the downtown area of a major city. Stanford is more of the traditional quad and crap beautiful like Duke.

And adjacent to job opportunities like the new Google tower, as opposed to a used Nissan dealership.
