Good Lord, can someone please get our student athletes the vaccine shots? How hard can it be to pull some strings? We’ve got ZERO connections as a program?

The vaccines don't prevent transmission. So as long as testing still exists, this isn't going away.
they need to stop testing. like now. but alas i
think they will still be testing in 22' or 23'. seriously.

You don’t know if you can test positive with the vaccine. I don’t think you can. So the answer is to stop contact tracings.

The vax probably reduces transmission a lot. When the spread is negligible, I imagine they'll stop asymptomatic testing. Hopefully, this will be the last Covid pause.
It’s all self imposed regulation right now right? Since it’s spring?

it's just my own cynical opinion but i think they will keep testing through 2021 and possibly 2022 .. covid case counts be damned.

right on .. i just said in another thread, i think i will just sit out in person sporting events until when, if ever, the protocols are gone. i can take my consumer dollars elsewhere, or just save money.

The good news is that we are really trending in the right direction.

Your first post in this thread said that that things would be back to normal in 2023 or 2024, maybe.

Then your second post said you expect they will still be testing in 2022 and 2023.

Now you're saying they will keep testing in 2021 and maybe in 2022.

So if you post a couple more times the whole thing should be over!
