This is half true, at any rate.GT sports - COVID giveth, COVID taketh
I'll take an ACC Championship over wins against Mercer and GaStateCOVID mostly taketh. Like the kicking game or losses to Mercer and ga state in basketball.
Yes I believe 10k is the planned capacity for the spring game.
The only ones Covid helped in the ACC Tournament were Virginia, by sparing them a brutal and humiliating defeat at the hands of the white-hot, soon-to-be ACC champions.I'll take an ACC Championship over wins against Mercer and GaState
Good Lord, can someone please get our student athletes the vaccine shots? How hard can it be to pull some strings? We’ve got ZERO connections as a program?
they need to stop testing. like now. but alas iThe vaccines don't prevent transmission. So as long as testing still exists, this isn't going away.
You don’t know if you can test positive with the vaccine. I don’t think you can. So the answer is to stop contact tracings. The vaccines don't prevent transmission. So as long as testing still exists, this isn't going away.
Why do you say that? Revenge?I can’t wait to play Pittsburgh this year!

It’s all self imposed regulation right now right? Since it’s spring? The vax probably reduces transmission a lot. When the spread is negligible, I imagine they'll stop asymptomatic testing. Hopefully, this will be the last Covid pause.
it's just my own cynical opinion but i think they will keep testing through 2021 and possibly 2022 .. covid case counts be damned. It’s all self imposed regulation right now right? Since it’s spring?
If I was a coach I’d risk scandal and say öööö itit's just my own cynical opinion but i think they will keep testing through 2021 and possibly 2022 .. covid case counts be damned.
right on .. i just said in another thread, i think i will just sit out in person sporting events until when, if ever, the protocols are gone. i can take my consumer dollars elsewhere, or just save money. If I was a coach I’d risk scandal and say öööö it

The good news is that we are really trending in the right direction.
Your first post in this thread said that that things would be back to normal in 2023 or 2024, maybe.
Then your second post said you expect they will still be testing in 2022 and 2023.
Now you're saying they will keep testing in 2021 and maybe in 2022.
So if you post a couple more times the whole thing should be over!
