Too bad we don’t play them earlier in the year. They lose a ton. They’ll have it together by 11/20.
 
Notre Dame and UNC are primed for THE UPSET ZONE

Both lose a lot of production. Both are probably overrated in the polls right now (both top 10). Both games will take place in a destination venue. Both teams play a rival the next week (Carolina plays Duke and ND plays Stanford). It’ll be late in the season. It’ll probably be snowing.

That’s why I got the Yella Jackets reprising their 2007 South Bend Beat Down.

Geoff gets his signature win. Recruiting Class of 2022 finishes in the top 25. We see highlights from this game for years. It is marked as the turning point for the rebuild.

I am with FHstinger on this but would love to be wrong and apologize when proven wrong. Problem is, I'm 65 and don't see it happening in my lifetime.
 
I wish I was more optimistic but South Bend, IN 7 days before the dwags is beyond tough.
 
I will be there with my three ND cousins, and they are going to be very disappointed. Remember when Joe Hamilton started to figure it out midway through his sophomore year...Yea Baby.

we have two types of Tech fans:

I’m a Tech fan so I expect the worst so I can never be disappointed with anything in life and anyone who thinks differently is a ööööing moron, and the coach is a moron, and I’m always right.

I’m a Tech fan but really I’m a product of the state of Georgia so just like the dwags I expect unrealistic things to happen right before the season starts and the coach is awesome and the team is amazing and everyone else who disagrees can go öööö themselves because I’m always right.

These two come together to form what we call Stingtalk.

There are the Tech fans who like CPJ.

Then there are the Tech fans that hate CPJ and never fail to bring up how much they believe he sucked at every opportunity.

And then there are those of us who recognized that CPJ was not going to change his offense under any circumstances despite the obvious evidence that even Duke had figured out how easily it could be stopped.
