It is legitimately unbelievable that Collins gets as much love for beating a .500 UNC team and a 2-10 Duke team as CPJ got for winning literal ööööing Orange Bowls. This fanbase has a mind virus
It is legitimately unbelievable that anyone thinks the amount of "love" Collins is getting now is even remotely comparable to the love CPJ received after winning the Orange Bowl.

I don’t know why the öööö y’all are arguing this right now. CPJ struggled on a ton of late game while trailing situations. He also put a ton of games away early so we didn’t have to worry about late game trailing situations. Who the öööö cares. Cutcliffe is sad. All is right in the world.
they have a very good shot at going 3-9.
Again.
Good thing they won the ACC baseball championship. Because their hoops program is about to take a turn for the worse with that sanctimonious fraud Coach K about to head for the Just for Men hair color hills.

You want to credit Pnode for dialing up a play where our QB throws a prayer off his back foot to avoid a sack that would just about end the game?

Props to Sims and Sanders for making öööö happen, but you’re really reaching here, dude.
Multiple quarterbacks have won a heisman doing the same öööö.

Wrecks and Effect or Bbuzzoff or whoever this guy actually is, is not a GT fan. He is trying to sell recruiting site subscriptions.
Didn’t realize this was Wrexie.

Anyone remember 20ozBullpuppy? Wonder what happened to him?

That throw was too accurate to be "a prayer", if a QB that "you approve of" makes the same throw, in the same situation, would you call it a prayer?

I think not, you'd say the Guy was a gamer and really has a good understanding of the mental aspects of playing QB, you'd say he has it all between the Ears.....

PNode sent in the Plays, you can't just hang the bad Plays around his neck, and then forget that he also called the good plays.
You are making stuff up again. Sims is a better QB than Yates with a much higher ceiling, and I have never stated otherwise. He and Gibbs have the potential and pure talent to be one of the top 5-10 QB/RB tandems in the country. I’m thrilled that we won today, and like I said, it’s nice to be able to play poorly and still win. I do think that’s progress.

Mods, how long do we have to put up with this jackass?
I simply celebrated a game winning drive with less than 2 Mins to go in the Game, and someone else brought up past Coaches

Guys like you want CGC to fail so you can be "right", you sound as if you are mad we won cause all your comments this week are now worthless.

Before I go, Sims was 12 of 25 for 297 yds 3TDs and 2 Ints.

If Sims had any level of help from our OLine he would have a good chance to throw for 350 yds every week, basically an All-ACC Level QB, you and your Sims critics can put that in your pipes & smoke that.

I'm like the Coach in the Movie Hoosiers, I support the Team we put on the field every week, I don't support the Team you hope we will be someday, try it you might like it.

I'm a real GT Fan and you're the fan of a system, so that GT can have "an identity" so you can feel good about your Fandom.

Name calling should be beneath a Tech Alum.

You are full of öööö. I supported the coach when he was hired and right now it’s not looking so good. I’ve mentioned he ought to be improving or Stansbury should get on him. Spout your lies elsewhere maggot.

“I support the team we put on the field every week” while constantly throwing our OL players under the bus every week to shield criticism from the coach.

You’re delusional, dude. Projecting your hate of a coach onto others. I’m out - peace.

How many 4th Qtr 2minute Game Winning Drives did the previous, "Genius in Residence HC" dial up using his genius Offensive System?

We just saw PNode dial up one, maybe PNode is an Offensive Genius just like the last Guy?
Lol. I actually don’t think he’s as terrible as many do. He’s just average. Which is better than his boss.

If today did not convince you we have one of the weakest coaching staffs in the country, I’m not sure what will. We have substantially better talent at every position than Dook, needed a correct (but frankly lucky to get as they normally look the other way in such situations) penalty flag by an observant ref, then a partial whiff on a jam and a damn near perfect throw to win. No GT fan wanted our FG unit to try a game tying FG of any distance given our unreliability.

This is the weakest the ACC has been since O’Leary’s days of Free Shoes & everybody else. It’s still possible we go .500 in ACC play, which should be the bare minimum given the weakness of our schedule, and get us to 5 wins the expected total for the year. Problem is, I’m not sure there’s much more upside with the liabilities we have on the sideline. I’m not even sure some of them are capable of learning, they’re all practically 1 or 2 levels above their glass ceilings. You have to get to the position coaches before you can identify anyone you’d want to keep at this point.

If I’m Stansbury, my head’s aching right now. There’s no good way out.
