It won’t happen because SEC, but there’s a reasonable argument that they don’t deserve a spot in the playoffs. They’re 0-1 (blowout loss) against Top 20 teams. Has a team ever made the playoffs/BCS/whatever without a Top 20 win?

Wisconsin was #18 when they beat them. Cincy only beat them by 11. They still won't make it though.

It's an interesting scenario. Last years championship game was a dud, ESPN lost tons of money on it. If there's a rematch of the SECCG for the title, it will be an even worse ratings dud than last year. Remember how bad the LSU-Bama rematch was? I doubt ESPN wants that again.

the seeding will be interesting no matter what Michigan does because the committee will not rematch BAMA UGA in the semi's. i think 1. BAMA 2. Michigan 3. UGA. 4 Cincy is likely for that reason if Michigan wins. If they dont.... 1. BAMA 2. Cincy 3. UGA 4. ????
