Playing is his best path the the NFL. The question is whether he has a better shot to see significant playing time at GT or at Auburn. We'll see. But my point is Dwight Smith has no idea.

Yes that is true. There is no gauruntee that he will play at Auburn and no gauruntee that he would have played here. But playing RB or DB at Auburn will give him a better shot at the NFL that playing QB here.
 
3 RBs per play > 1 RB per play

Seems easy to me to determine which provides the greater chance of seeing the field.

So if he continues his development you don't think Josh will have a shot in the NFL? Not at QB most likely, but you don't think a team would give him a shot as a RB if he produces?

I think that is what is most likely for a GT QB right now. The ideal thing is to get a guy who can play QB (passing and such) but who has the athleticism to be a running back.
