49ers dont want stafford

I'm not clear on the relationship between his parents' divorce and his inability to perform under a strong rush.

He apparently gave the psychologist a rash and a **** during the interview. Demanded to know what the psychologists salary was, and challenged the psychologists ability to do his job.


Not exactly leadership qualities, there.

The AJC. I can't blame him honestly. What would you guys do if you went in to a job interview and they started asking about your parents' divorce and asking if you had baggage left over from it? If I knew I could get another job(which Stafford obviously can), I would probably tell the psychologist to go **** himself too. Some of this NFL stuff is just off-the-wall.
 
I played against that a$$wipe and that's exactly what he is an a$$wipe. Things get personal in those interviews and yes it should stay behind closed doors. We are talking 60 to 80 million dollars so yes they are going to ask different questions to get their feel and see facial expressions. Beyond that it should stay out of the paper.

maybe this is intended to help avoid drafting the next Michael Vick. I know that people said NFL teams should do more background investigation before drafting top picks, and psych evaluations would fit in with that.

Well, let's see.

A coach, in SAN FRANCISCO, dropping his pants in front of a large group of other men in the hopes of inspiring them,

and concerns because some young man will not give this egghead fruitcake answers about his personal family life,

not so sure stafford did not come out ahead here.
 
now that Cutler is done in Denver, i hope the Lions break the bank for him. he is a winner, unlike Stafford
 
Mover, are you saying that Singletary was an asswipe?

If I was Stafford, I would have just laughed, gotten up, and walked out of the room. The 49ers don't deserve a response.
