Pollack let go at ESPN...

Brought in the Pat McAfee show and canned a bunch of ESPN garbage. Love to see it.

Can we please, please open an all things UGAg forum on here and keep them out of our football forum? All the Tech fans that view our program through the lenses of Athens can have a nice place to congregate. It will be so much fun for them.

…and Pollack is the worst announcer ever. I get dumber just thinking about him.

He projects ESPN going bankrupt. I've been echoing those sentiments for a long time now. I think Disney is going to spin ESPN off as quickly as it can. Disney has it's own serious troubles threatening their core business and ESPN is dead weight on a sinking ship.

As I've said a few times with regard to conference realignment, various TV deals and the ACC GOR, I think there may be a lot of significant changes in these arrangements and contracts if ESPN goes bankrupt or is sold off to a third party by Disney. I'm not sure how many people are actually thinking about this and the potential impacts. I can't imagine there aren't clauses in all of these contracts for rights to terminate by ESPN/Disney if ownership changes. Certainly bankruptcy would create quite a cluster.
 
I pretty much quit watching Gameday because of that doofus. Looking forward to resuming this fall. Assuming ESPN can afford decent replacements.
 
Independent of my thoughts on UGA, Pollack is the worst on-air person I’ve ever seen. At least on the field he had a “motor”. He’s got the same lack of talent on air, without a way to make up for it. Talentless clown.
 
Pollock went to my HS (Shiloh HS). He was in my younger sister's graduating class. He was a tool back then and even got more pompous as he got older. There were better anchors/commentators than him. I've been more disappointed with ESPN in general as they have intentionally crossed into politics, became woke, etc. The ESPYs became laughable.

Ten days ago they selected their 4 finalists for 2023 MLB player of the year ESPY. None of them are named Ronald Acuna, but Verlander made it.
They are basically a sports propaganda network at this point.
 
Low IQ typical Ga "grad". Stopped watching Gameday when it became a clown show of morons. I get Corso being a prop with dementia, but Herbstreit knows nothing, Desmond Howard affirmative action token, Rece Davis - minimal talent. Then they began to infuse some buffoon from a bar camera man - bear; another uga "grad" woman who I don't know what in the world she knows about football, and finally inserted Pat McAfee, who for the life of me I don't know where he came from and what he brings to the clown party. This whole gameday fiasco contributes to the demise of college football. What is a mystery is as a grown men go hold up a sign like a ten year old 4 hours before gametime and be proud of yourself for paying attention to what dumb-as-a-bag of rocks Pollack has to say. Glad he is gone. Now he can join Zeir and a few other has-beens.
