How soon before Pollack winds up with those hacks in Atlanta sports talk radio, for three hours of fellating and reacharounding on him?
He was already on a show in the ATL - "Pollack and Bell". Its was sad as Bell would say so many things that just went right over his head or he had no clue about general knowledge questions. On second thought he would fit right back in with those clowns.Won't bother me because I won't be hearing it.
I surmise that his shtick centers around attempting to pick up the mantle of Howard Cosell with a modern day ratcheting up of cartoonish extreme takesI can't stand Steven A Smith.

At least Howard Cosell was amusing.I surmise that his shtick centers around attempting to pick up the mantle of Howard Cosell with a modern day ratcheting up of cartoonish extreme takes
The irony of it all was I heard that when he got the ESPN gig he quickly thought he was beyond the 790 personalities (at the time before they went to 680). I always thought he was awful and the combination of Bell and Pollock just didn’t mesh well in my opinion. How soon before Pollack winds up with those hacks in Atlanta sports talk radio, for three hours of fellating and reacharounding on him?
who the effing is Pat Mcafee? Guess you can see how much ESPN talk crap I watch.I think he's a buffoon too. Too over the top. I think Desmond is there because of his outlandish picks lol. Corso had his time and he needs to quietly retire. Having him there is embarrassing and I truly hate it for him when he has a gaffe. On par w/ Sleepy Joe moments. I didn't mind Herbstreit until he started getting political too a little but he's tried to refrain from it. Reese is OK but is a step down from Fowler in my opinion. I'd like to see them do something on the NIL. I mean truly looking into it and how it has given power to factories and how it has changed the college landscape, and not for the better. Or, do a special on UGAY at the beginning of the season piggy backing on the AJC investigative reporting all of their trouble with the law, and sexual encounters involving 16 yr old recruits and Coach Gantt trying to bail them out. Coming off a NC, that's news worthy. Let's see if they're objective or if they're going to sweep it under the rug because of the SEC Network and TV deal.

He was also one of the most knowledgeable sports guys of his time.At least Howard Cosell was amusing.
And he made damn sure everybody knew it.He was also one of the most knowledgeable sports guys of his time.
And he was hilarious. And he made damn sure everybody knew it.
I was actually watching the game and remember him saying the comment that ended his career. I was a kid but I still recall thinking - "...uh oh.."And he was hilarious.
Why am I not surprisedHe was very high on the Clown FWIW.
He had a great time with Don Meredith too.I was actually watching the game and remember him saying the comment that ended his career. I was a kid but I still recall thinking - "...uh oh.."
But yeah, he could be funny - esp his back-and-forths with Ali - those two would go at it pretty good but everybody knew they weren't serious.
He pumps everyone up, he thought Matt Ryan was going to save the Colts. GT could stand to have more promotion. Why am I not surprised
