Reminder: CPJ's first 2009 call-in show

Wes announces that Ramblinwreck.com will carry podcasts of all CPJ call-in shows. Today’s available tomorrow.

Responding to question, CPJ says they do NOT have or design specific plays for certain personnel on offense.

CPJ says JD has NFL potential, has great football IQ, knows blocking schemes as well as the line, BUT could become a better blocker and needs to in order to play in NFL. Says (as he often does) that the entire team, including the coach, could get a lot better in a lot of areas.

Moved Anthony Allen to A back simply because he wanted him and Dwyer on field at same time since Allen was one of our best guys. Says AA may not get as many touches as JD but will get his chances to make plays. Preston Lyons had a great camp and has earned playing time. Is excited about Richard Watson. Lucas Cox will get pt as B-Back.

TO BE CONCLUDED.....

Wes wishes PJ a happy belated birthday. PJ says he got a new shower head for his birthday; it was what he asked for.

Would like to add Editorial Comment: I think Wes Durham does a really nice job with these things. A lot of hosts of these shows are either too ass-kissy or try to get in the way of the show too much, or ask a lot of dumb questions. To me, Wes has the perfect tone and presence in these things, knows when to let the coach talk and when to move things along, and has a great booming voice too. Way to go, Wes.

And I apologize in advance for whatever I missed or misunderstood or misspelled etc.

Call in show was on 107.3 out of Statesboro, with a soul station on the same frequency breaking through on occasion (don't mind some good soul music, y'all, but people, this was a PJ call in show I was trying to listen to). Did not hear show on Savannah station. They have carried weekly call in show/games in the past. Don't know what tonight's snafu was.

Wes is awesome, we are lucky to have him, and I hope he never leaves. He is the man.
