Yep. :biggthumpup:That's the karma you get for building up your alma mater to the edge of powerhouse then leaving it for a old big name school that was offering you less money to go there.

It would not suprise me if they lost their opener to Western Michigan.
about violations also some former players agreeing thats how things went on. 10am-10pm days on sundays thats insane.

This all reminds me of Bud Carson. When he died in 2005, a number of former players on the Hive posted that he was loathed by the players as a slave driver. There's tough, like Paul Johnson, and then there's slave driver. This included practicing 40 hours a week during finals week, among other things. It apparently all culminated in a mutiny during the half time of the Sun Bowl, IIRC.
I'm sure all programs, including us, push the envelope on practice time. Clemson just got hit for putting players in pads too early. But 11 hours of practice in one day is insane, and Michigan hasn't even gotten anything to show for it.
All teams probably violate this rule to some degree. After all, it is hard to quantify "voluntary".
Was about to say the same thing myself....:eek5:I was thinking about football...and then I saw Beestorm's avatar. Now I'm thinking about something else...
