The Duke and Miss St. games were never in doubt. But he nearly cost us the BC game. Had he taken care of his blocking assignments, we would have another TD for sure, probably two.

When he missed his block on the "for sure" TD, a coach pulled him off the field by his collar before the ref even blew the whistle, and he didn't see the field again for 1 or 2 games IIRC. A few plays later, we ran the same exact play. I think it was Peeples who got his block, and Dwyer was off to the races down the sideline for the TD.

Greg Smith is in some ways like Gailey: nice guy, upstanding citizen, but he does not have what it takes to kick somebody in the ass when it's necessary. Not a slight against him as a person, but certainly as a football player.

The Duke game was in doubt late in the 3rd.
