Thank you for your continued support of Georgia Tech Athletics, its student organizations and initiatives. Due to unfortunate circumstances with the shirt printing vendor, we were just notified an hour ago that the purchased White Out shirts will be unavailable to you all. We will be refunding everyone's money through Paypal. For those without White Out apparel for tomorrow's game versus Clemson, the Georgia Tech Barnes and Noble Bookstore still offers a variety of White shirts.

If you are a Georgia Tech student, the student shirts will still be available tomorrow beginning at 11am atop Peters Parking Deck. Thank you again for your patience, and understanding as we work hard to resolve this. Ramblin' Reck Club's T-Night will be held as scheduled tonight and begins at 9pm. We hope you will still support our yellow jackets by wearing white tomorrow.

Go Jackets!

This really stinks. Anyone have any info on what happened? It's a really late e-mail too...hopefully people don't show up without white(like I was planning on doing) and find out they don't have a shirt waiting for them.

I bet there is a Motivational poster that applies to this situation. Something like...

Some people need to know when to quit and others should know better than to even start.

This is just beyond unbelievable.

Surely everyone has a white shirt of some kind. It's not as if your white shirt has to have a GT logo or anything. Hell, I hate the white-out concept and I'm going to throw on a white shirt. I have considered going to a dollar store or something and buying twenty XL white tee shirts and offering them to folks who forgot or who didn't know. And I don't even LIKE the whiteout idea; I just want to avoid the embarrassment of having a half-ass-out.

nobody knows it is a white out. I'm telling you. This is setting up for an EPIC FAIL.

Ill bet ESPN makes it look good just as they did last year.

It's going to be pretty bad. Given the influx of Clemson people, we really need EVERY GT FAN to wear white to make it look even halfway decent, and it's starting to look like that won't happen.

They were just NOW going to print the darned things?

Talk about your all-time backfires.

Christ, how ****ing hard is it to wear a white T-shirt or a button down? Leave it to Tech fans to freak out over a non-problem.

Yep.

The AA did an absolutely hideous job marketing this thing.

I swear the only people who know it's a whiteout are a handful of students, and the few thousand people that read the various message boards.

Even if one were to look at the ticket, or on the ticket purchasing website...the ONLY thing I've seen is a couple lines of text that say "Student Sponsored Whiteout".

Dumb, dumb, dumb. This isn't something that you can do halfassed and expect to work...at least not with our fanbase.

It'll probably end up looking more like an orange-out. I hope we never try one of these things again. It doesn't work.
Nah...I think if we actually TRIED, it would work fine.

But adding one line of plain text that says something about the student body sponsoring something isn't "trying" in my book.

Hell, not to bring them into this, but the leghumper's AA marketed their "blackout" so well that ESPN was talking about it like a week before the game. People who don't even follow college football knew about it

Option two. Everyone bring a dead fish to throw.
Worked against ND in 1978. Hell, it's more of a tradition than this White Out.

I say we catch a school of these bastards and throw them at the Clempsun bench.

How about we just beat the crap out of Clemson so all of the orange leaves early.

Only GT fans could turn this into a problem.

Holy F*****g $*** Kyle, it only says it on the ticket. If you're going to the game you're going to see it right in front of you. Everyone has a white t shirt. I know you will probably be in your room whacking it to Harry Potter instead of coming to the game anyways.
