On ESPN just now

ESPN always find a way for the overwhelming favorites to win. Like the Patriots-Bills game the other night. That comeback was unbelievable. Almost too .. unbelievable....

Folks at espn really just don't want our offense to work. They have difficulty explaining it and it makes them feel and look stupid. They feel much more at ease just saying Miami is back and praying they are right.

ESPN being so high on Miami is actually good for us. If we win, it shows how good we've become. If we lose, it's still ok because "da U" is back.

Once again, CPJ's comments ring more truthful than ever:
"Ain't nobody gonna give us nothing. I don't want anybody to give me anything... I want to take it! Now let's go out there for 60 minutes, one play at a time, and get us some respect."

Any network that puts Woody Paige and Lou Holtz on TV can be disregarded other than the broadcast of the actual games.

Surprised nto to read any Heather-Hate in this thread. On College Football Live she was reporting on the woes of the ACC this season and reported that Gardner-Webb beat GT last year 10-7. (Gardner-Webb is playing soe other ACC team this weekend.)

Maybe I'm living in some other dimension, but I watched the FSU-Miami game and came away just totally unimpressed with either defense.

What magical thing has happened that's going to make Miami defend us better this year than last, anyway?

Not that this means squat, but I've seen talk of the new DC lining up the DL closer to the line of scrimmage. I am not the type to have noticed this, but apparently they were way off the line last year and the OL was able to get better cuts and get to the 2nd level easier because of this.

Edit: But mostly, because the U is back

This is a joke right? If they line up any closer they're in the neutral zone. Unless I'm missing something.

Wilbon from PTI just picked GT to win in the game tonight. He said, "Georgia Tech is the best team in the ACC. They are going to beat Miami in Miami."
