That's suprising to me, because he's been pretty high on us since we hired Paul.In ESPN's online preview, Herbstreit also picked them.

ESPN always find a way for the overwhelming favorites to win. Like the Patriots-Bills game the other night. That comeback was unbelievable. Almost too .. unbelievable....

Todd who?
I'm pretty sure. They were riding high, and we had just lost to UNC.Wasn't Miami favored last year?
The line has come back HARD in the last 12 hours
Nothing in life will be good if we lose.ESPN being so high on Miami is actually good for us. If we win, it shows how good we've become. If we lose, it's still ok because "da U" is back.
Did you see the graphic, as favorites Miami is 3-9 under Shannon?
Maybe I'm living in some other dimension, but I watched the FSU-Miami game and came away just totally unimpressed with either defense.
What magical thing has happened that's going to make Miami defend us better this year than last, anyway?
This is a joke right? If they line up any closer they're in the neutral zone. Unless I'm missing something. Not that this means squat, but I've seen talk of the new DC lining up the DL closer to the line of scrimmage. I am not the type to have noticed this, but apparently they were way off the line last year and the OL was able to get better cuts and get to the 2nd level easier because of this.
