The Tough Hard Truth

Claytor looked like garbage, too.

He did, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because he's big and can move better, and last year he played very well coming off the bench to take over Gardner's spot.

moves i would like to see.

- kill this wolf crap. Lets see another lb like at barnes or sylvester out there on the outside. Of course, sylvester is out 1-3 weeks with a concussion.

- burnett and reese at safety with coop backing them up.

- butler and reid at cb with tarrant backing up.

- walls instead of peters at dt

- look at getting more pt for hungry freshmen like cross...maybe even take the redshirt off dieke. Pass rush cannot get worse.

- start luke cox opposite roddy jones again....solid blocking and runs just fine when everyone executes.

- move jd out to ab in special situations (assuming he can block worth a darn) and put luke cox at bb in those situations.

- put more pressure on claytor, uzzi, and smith to step up on the ol. If they cannot do it...go ahead and start burning redshirts to get the meanest ol's on the field.

- pray that nesbitt learns to make better post snap reads...he is our only hope...and please...no one remind me that jaybo returns in two weeks because he is always one hit away from a cracked skull.

....is that enough?

Considering he already beat PJ for a national title, I'm not surprised.

Whipple kicked our butts last night, but this has nothing to do with it. GSU had 7 turnovers in that game and still only lost 55-43. There were no similarities between that game and the one you saw last night other than the loss.

We also don't have any kind of inspirational player on the team. We have NO LEADER whatsoever on the team. No Choice, no Reggie, No MJ. We have no one on the team that will do anything other than stand on the sideline looking dumbfounded. Choice was especially good at gettin angry and motivated. At least Reggie would buck up and fight - although for some reason some of you dislike the young man.

Heck, we got whipped by Matt Ryan, but dammit we fought and scratched and clawed the entire time. Against Miami, we just rolled over, thought of our happy place, and just let them have at us like we were fresh meat on the cellblock.

Our D line is too skinny
Our O line is too skinny
Both are getting bulldozed at the snap.

Reggie would buck up, fight, and throw it out of bounds on 4th down at the end of the game. I loved his fire but he couldn't control himself. Choice was a great leader.

Reggie wasn't a leader, like, at all. It's funny that you think he was.

Couple fo things.
1.) If you think Reggie was a leader, I got news for you.

2.) Unlike the Gailey years where I saw the entire team quit. I saw only certain players half assing it much of last night. It certainly wasn't everyone. I thought Roddy, Thomas, and Cox stood out on Offense. On defense, Reese and Burnett were running all over the place trying to make plays. They were getting after it. I think Tarrant tried at least but its hard to succeed when you can't cover a baby with a blanket.

I got news for all of you

Again, shut the hell up cause you're a gd moron.

Reggie was a loser, although he pulled a couple wins out of his ass.

Reggie couldn't hold Nesbitt jock if you put handles on it. Reggie instead would probably get hit in the mouth and do one of 2 things:

1. Talk **** and get a couple Personal Fouls
2. Bitch at everyone cause he's getting hit in the mouth thus talking **** and getting PF's called on his sorry "Arnold Drummond with Tats" lookin' ass

You f'n ass of "so called" Tech Fan.

Go leap from the top of the West Stands you turd

A day later there's not one thing I said that I don't believe. Listen Mover, I wanted PJ as our coach since 2005. I even said so often. So I'm happy about having him here. That said I don;t get my panties in a bunch when someone criticizes him. If you don't think there is a pattern in the LSU, Clemson, and Miami games, then I can't help you. All three had common elements about attacking our oline. PJ needs to look in the mirror, because 250 lb tackles at this level don't ****ing cut it. Not to mention flashy Abacks who don;t block and snazzy punt returners who suck playing cornerback. Also, our playcalling turns to **** quick if we get behind and we rely on low percentage pass plays. For the second straight game I felt PJ was calling plays out of a hat waiting for the rabbit to appear.

BULLSH** on a couple of items BOR.

Explain the patterns to me in the above mentioned games. Dont come with the horsesh*t we got stuffed up the middle. I hate to tell you but all 3 of those games each of those teams put 3 people on the B back to make sure JD didnt beat them. Consensus by coaches is that is how you stop an option team.

On tarrant I will agree for most part, but you also have to look at the difference in playing cover 2 and cover 3 in the secondary. One coverage gives you tight coverage the other you play soft. Miami caught us last night and tarrant was the choice they picked on and caught us in coverages. I know you know enough about football to know you get caught in bad coverages.

As for 250 pound tackles I couldn't agree more but you tell me what we havae to play with. PJ is playing with former staff OL. I personally think it will get better.

IMO PJ was not calling out of a hat. Not a whole lot was working as we could all see. When things are going ****ty it happens.

Reggie > any QB we have right now

Lame ass statement IMO. Reggie hit a few W's for us. I think you may have forgotten all the stupid stuff he did and said.

In my eyes if the UGAy game is "just a game dog" then you do not understand. If you do not remember let me look straight at receiver while I throw him a INT.

I will take JN or Jaybe any day beofre RB.

D has played poorly for about 5/6 straight games, but I have yet to see them give up 51 (much less twice).

I have yet to see DM D pull a smurf turf, or nut bowl or whatever game (especially with the other teams QBs out)

CPJ said it right. We are playing too nice.

It will be his responsibility to fix it.

And why are idiots still comparing scores from other games as a way to measure our opponent coming up?

And what idiot put our S/As on the field 3 times in 12 days?

Outside of the fact that we didn't execute blocks in the Miami game which compounded the problem, both Miami's and Clemson's DE's are as big and athletic as LSU's. If you watch the DE's in all three games it shows them firing into the tackles and standing them up straight not allowing them to cut block. That's what I'm talking about. Their DE's almost acted like they were pass blocking. It works too. Their able to read the play better and force us to make a commitment instead of read the defense.

Is that horse**** enough for you?

As far as Tarrant goes, I hear ya. My biggest problem is that Tarrant thinks after the receiver is in his route, he can allow the same separation on him as the original distance at the LOS and at this level, he cannot close that fast. I think Tarrant plays hard, I just don't think he plays smart. He's trying to act like a safety and he's a cornerback. Cornerbacks need to stay on their man. Rashad Reid may have given up a couple of big plays last year, but typically he is blanketing the receivers and knows how to jump the route. We don;t have that now.

Wait a damn minute BOR, a few posts ago you were talking about the inside blocking. If I misread, then my bad. As far as the DE's are concerned I will definately be going back and watching game again to see for myself. The cure for what you are talking about is to bring the A back down and carry the 3O to the next level. I would bet my ass CPJ knows this.

As for Tarrant I couldn't agree more. He IS a safety and not a corner. He does not have the closing speed of Reid. I like you WANT Reid on the field all day unless something is going on we dont know about. If Wommack will not make the change then I think his ass needs to go.

How does that horsesh*t grab you?

If the Aback crashes the DE then who gets the linebacker? The DT's are crashing the gaps off center and the DE's are pass blocking our Tackles.

We can defend it, but its hard when your tackles weigh 250 lbs and are getting manhandled.

The LB's damn sure better take the B Back. If the DT's are crashing, we need to widen the path of JN to outside leg of Guard and not so much of midline.

Thats when you go to the next level with the QB pitch.

Hell BOR, you know the old adage, last one with the chalk wins.

Offense has to counter what defense is givng them. It takes proper reads and JN is not all the way there yet or so it seems better than 50 perceny of the time.

If I were Reggie after the UGA game, I just would have said "Fark all of you whiney GT somebatches" especially if I were treated the way he was by his own "fans". He played hard in the game a got us a play or two away from winning the UGAg game. You can base your love for CPJ on beating UGAg last year, but one play or another swings a different way and it would have been the same old story down there. If we play again like we played against UM, we will suffer another monumental defeat at the hands of the mutts.

Jaybo Shaw? ARE YOU FARKIN' KIDDING ME? Deer in the damn headlights last year against FSU.

A play or two in every game can swing the outcome. Another lame ass statement.

I never said RB didnt play hard. But I damn sure do not think "its just a game dog." If you do then thats a choice you make.

Deer in headlights. Hmmmmm I guess the 2 firstdowns he got in the UGAy game dont count for anything.

My love for CPJ isnt based on a DAMn thing except I think he is a helluva football coach. Maybe I'm wrong. guess we will see.

OOOHHHH - 2 whole first downs in the UGAg game. I'll trump you with Clemson 2004 and 2 Auburn's - among others.
