Since "da U is back" and F$U almost beat them and trashed BYU, does this mean the ACC will start getting some respect? All the pundits have hammered home the point that it's absolutely necessary for these two teams to be at the top of the conference for it to be worth anything.
EDIT: Not that I really care all that much about the ACC's perception right now. We just got embarrassed and aren't likely to get much respect outside of the conference unless we win out, so people pumping up Miami doesn't exactly do much for me. I was actually cheering for Nebraska today, even knowing it would make a win for us over VT look less impressive.
So we have to go 11-1 to get "much respect outside the conference?" If you mean MNC contenders, then I agree. But we can still get a decent bowl game and top 25 finish with a 9-3 season and cetainly a 10-2 season.
Sorry if I don't jumping off a bridge because everybody else is after one loss. If you're that sensitive, then you can be a UF fan, and even they lose from time to time.
