Tech-FSU

I'm worried about this one. Yeah, two teams have beaten them at home, but this is different. We're gonna be on national TV, a night game at FSU, and I'm afraid they're gonna bring out the black jerseys. They were beaten in them last year, but the atmosphere there could get electric for them... Bobby Bowden needs to prove himself, and I think that this is gonna be his turning-point game.

I predicted a 10-2 season for GT this year, and the two losses were @Miami and @FSU... so far I'm right...

Too early to worry about this one, dude. They have a game this Saturday against MSU.

I'm worried about FSU more than VPISU...

I think FSU will be looking for revenge for last year's heartbreaker while GT will be looking for revenge against last year's heartbreaker to VPISU....

Thanks for the update. I hadn't heard anything about the injury until now, and it sounds as if FSU has been trying like hell to keep it under wraps. Ponder is the key to that offense. Their run game is not that great, and the pass has been the only thing working really well this season for their offense. It seems as if their winning is predicated on scoring more points than the other team's offense (ala "shoot-out" style as opposed to punishing defenses like they've had in the past) as their defense has been far from impressive. If the rumor about Ponder's other knee being injured last week against USF is true, boy that could spell disaster for the Criminoles. As Ponder goes, so does FSU.

Wow. Sounds like things are in turmoil in Tallahassee right now. Nothing that hasn't been said already, but until Bowden leaves, that program is gonna remain schizophrenic. Sounds like there's a lot of in-fighting among the coaches/staff and 2 camps have emerged around Bowden. Never a good situation.

If the boys play the way we know they're capable of, there is no reason we can't beat FSU soundly. However, we have a game this Sat against MSU and so hopefully they're focused and not looking ahead. As a fan, however, I have that luxury....

Don't think our guys are looking ahead simply because the threat of MSU is too obvious. The LSU game they had is a big help for focusing our guys. As for FSU, I think the whole revenge thing will get sidetracked depending on what happens this weekend. Personally, I don't want to face a 2-3 FSU team coming back home on the end of a two better-than-the-other-team loss skid. Therefore, rooting for FSU this weekend.

P.S. FSU is too schizophrenic for them to be really focused on beating us because of the fumble. They 'should' be more worried about getting their *&$% mind right, if you know what i mean.
