..is the slowest, most agonizing week leading up to a game that I can remember. The hours feel like days and every day feels like an entire off-season.

Going to have to agree here.
I even have had mid-terms this week (which normally make the week fly) and Saturday still isn't here. Imagine how having to wait until 8:00 on Saturday night will be.
Jesus.
I like to employ this technique I call "time traveling". You probably know it better as drinking heavily.
Saturday won't be quite as bad, because there will be other games on. At 12:30, I get to pull for the Vols over the mutts and I'm sure there will be at least one good game on at 3:30. But these days at work are absolutely killing me. Just gotta finish this one and get through tomorrow.
I know for a fact I won't get a bit of sleep tomorrow night.
I'll jump in this boat too fellas, our year end is Oct. 31st so we are doing reviews and getting ready for the holiday planning. This week has been very long...
I can't wait until Saturday!
It doesn't help that every time I walk outside, I walk directly into the most perfect football weather I've felt all year - making me wonder "Why can't we just suit up and play this thing right now!?"I mean, you've got the weekly "damn I can't wait for Saturday" nervousness, then you have college football, then your team is facing a team that in a real universe it should beat, but a loss would make you absolutely furious... and then you have to wait until 8 PM...

If you think this is bad, imagine the summer leading up to the GT/UGA CFA kickoff. ;)

I'll be bluntly honest about my feelings on that game. I will not really care about the rest of the season, no matter the outcome. We win, the season is a success. We lose, and I'm a miserable **** with no hope of solace.Funny... Then imagine the rest of the season after it!
