..is the slowest, most agonizing week leading up to a game that I can remember. The hours feel like days and every day feels like an entire off-season.

Going to have to agree here.

I even have had mid-terms this week (which normally make the week fly) and Saturday still isn't here. Imagine how having to wait until 8:00 on Saturday night will be.

Jesus.

I like to employ this technique I call "time traveling". You probably know it better as drinking heavily.

Absolutely spot-on. I cannot believe how long this week has been already.

Saturday won't be quite as bad, because there will be other games on. At 12:30, I get to pull for the Vols over the mutts and I'm sure there will be at least one good game on at 3:30. But these days at work are absolutely killing me. Just gotta finish this one and get through tomorrow.

I know for a fact I won't get a bit of sleep tomorrow night.

Well, theres football on tonight, and we get to hope UGA loses this weekend and the Dawgs start tearing their hair out...

I'll sleep fine but have ulcers by 6

I'll jump in this boat too fellas, our year end is Oct. 31st so we are doing reviews and getting ready for the holiday planning. This week has been very long...
I can't wait until Saturday!

I can't wait until Saturday!

What an appropriate signature you have.

I mean, you've got the weekly "damn I can't wait for Saturday" nervousness, then you have college football, then your team is facing a team that in a real universe it should beat, but a loss would make you absolutely furious... and then you have to wait until 8 PM...

It doesn't help that every time I walk outside, I walk directly into the most perfect football weather I've felt all year - making me wonder "Why can't we just suit up and play this thing right now!?"

If you think this is bad, imagine the summer leading up to the GT/UGA CFA kickoff. ;)

It's absolutely perfect outside, and I hate having to stare out of the window at it. Its pretty much childhood-reminiscing weather, as in I want to go play football in the front yard with my Dad... but watching the Jackets play is just as good.

I cannot wait for this weekend... cannot... wait...

Funny... Then imagine the rest of the season after it!
I'll be bluntly honest about my feelings on that game. I will not really care about the rest of the season, no matter the outcome. We win, the season is a success. We lose, and I'm a miserable **** with no hope of solace.

"The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days. And the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days. And the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day, and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in the evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half. I have it written down, but I can show it to you tomorrow if you want to see it."

Did I kill the thread with the quote from "The Jerk"? My bad......

Extended teasing and waiting leads to a much bigger explosion.

At least watching the vols embarrass the mutts will make the time move a little bit.
