Now that we have beaten FSU the next task and last one till UGA is beating VT at home on homecoming weekend. If anybody saw last year when OU's head coach Bob Stoops called out the fans to be loud, and it was beyond loud and it had never been that crazy before, they won by 44 points over #2 Texas Tech. I know I'm nowhere near what Bob Stoops is at OU here, but I think that should be the challenge we put on the GT fans.

Come out in full force against #4 VT. If we when we control our own destiny. We need it to be jammed packed and the loudest it has ever been in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

This was the entire game's atmosphere - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beYeHQ1_NWM&feature=related

Apparently the game wasn't even sold out as of Wednesday (they mentioned it on the cpj radio show). I will be there. And I expect it to be much louder than the Clemson game.

I will be glad when every Tech game is a sellout. That would mean that we are a little closer to "arriving."

Just got an email at 6:19 PM EST with the subject title of "SIGN UP NOW FOR SINGLE-GAME TICKETS TO THE VIRGINIA TECH FOOTBALL GAME!"

If those were student tickets then they weren't available until then anyways. I have no doubt that the student section will be full, my fear is that the upper north stands will not be, or if they are it will be all VpissU fans.

You wouldn't; student tickets are stored on the computer and you have to swipe your student ID to get in (they check picture).

But as far as I know general public tickets are still available and you should be able to order them online.

Yes but can't student order guest tickets?

If student tickets are not sold out by the Wednesday before the game (they are probably already sold out) then a student can buy 1 guest ticket for $25 but that ticket is also stored on the card and the guest must be at the gate with the student so the card can be swiped twice.

No one is getting a guest ticket for the VpissU game.

They've been available since Wednesday at 8AM. I'm not sure why the announcement was so late.

That would be pretty impressive. I thought the crowd during Clemson was great all night long.

The Clemson was nothing... we need this stadium to be its loudest in years. This is the biggest game we have had since the ND game in 2006. I hope CPJ does exactly that. We need to sell out this stadium on Saturday and be as loud as we can be...

It would be impressive indeed, but this game is much more important than the Clemson game AND its at night like Clemson but on a Saturday AND its homecoming. It should be electric.

As far as I'm concerned this IS the ACC Championship game because it might as well be.

Seriously, we need to be ridiculously loud. No sitting down during the game always screaming and JUMPING when on defense. People don't realize that when fans jump it makes everything so much louder.

Anybody think that bringing something to make noise (air horns, etc.)

Since I just left the Netherlands, how about some wooden shoes?

I use someone else's student ID and then never check the picture (granted, we do look somewhat alike). When they swipe the card, the picture is facing away from them, so I always hand it to them so the picture is not facing them. Never had a problem. Also, the Clemson game was extremely loud on the last drive. Other than that, it was pretty disappointing.
