So the play where the guy faked going off the field but stayed on - they are going to say that is legal now? But not so on our kicks??
They didn't substitute anyone. We substituted ten players. That's the difference.
Maybe we should run it on them again in the ACCCG just to refresh Dabo's memory on how it's exactly done.
the rule is that you cant use tricks to fool the other team who is on the field. he acted like he was running off. then he stood there as if he was off the field with his hands on his hips. the ref is waving him off the field.. illegal in my book
exactly because it is deceitful. if he doesnt run off as fast, or doesnt act like hes on the sideline while standing there, or informs the ref so the ref isnt waving him off the field.. then it seems like it should be legal, but if the ref is waving the player off the field, that is confusing to the defense as to wherther the player is partly on the field or on as a player
Why do you think that is the rule? The rule is you cannot use the substitution process to trick or deceive your opponent. There were no substitutions occurring.
I agree it's cheap and both plays have the same sentiment, but I don't see how this one is against the rules.
