I don't think even ESPN can spin this as an SEC victory. Everyone and their grandmother was saying McCoy need to have a good, nay great game for Texas to win. If he gets knocked out, Bama winning was a matter of course.

A bit harsh for the QB. A true freshman quarterback in a National Title game is just way too harsh an environment. Hope Texas fans don't do something stupid and boo him later.

You know what, what a disaster these BCS bowls have been from an entertainment perspective. Sugar and BCS Title game will be one sided bitch slapping's for various reasons, Fiesta and Orange was a showcase of struggling offenses (Iowa's did at various points). Only the Rose bowl was truly entertaining.
