I think CMR is playing with fire. Calling your class the dream team is going to raise fans expectations. When they shouldn't be that high after one of their worst years ever!

Their schedule is pretty easy compared to the last couple of years.

Boise st is not going to be quite as good and will not be playing on blue grass. South Carolina will be tough. Coastal Carolina and Ole miss should be pretty easy IMO. Miss St I think will be hard but they have them at home. I am not buying into Tennessee at all. Vanderbilt<Wake Forest. I think uga is going to get their ass beat by florida..Muschamp is going to have the gator nation pumped up for this game. New Mexico st is walk in the park. Auburn is going to really tough even though they have them at home. Kentucky isn't there yet but they can pull the upset. GT anyone can win this game..but we lost AA and Nesbitt so we will need to see some guys step up. We will just have to wait and see. Pretty easy schedule overall for ugag which will raise fans expectations more.

Either way my point is that uga could easily only win 8 games. I have heard from many reporters and fans that they want richt gone if he doesn't win nine or more. I think 8 games will look alot worse when you just recruited the "dream team" which is actually not ranked as high as their 2008 class.

I could easily see cmr getting fired then Kirby Smart coming in and winning the SEC with all of Richts talent. Freshman are not going to change your program in one year. CMR needs two more years IMO to develop this talent.

I hope whatever happens with uga and richt it is for the worst! THWG!

Maybe he wants to be fired. I can think of a lot worse things than to be told don't come to work tomorrow and here's a large check.

He's been cooking up this "dream team" thing and his dumb **** hick followers are eating it up. God damn, there is literally a kid on Facebook who was spewing bull**** about this ****.

In conclusion, **** the cesspool. I hope those dumb ass recruits enjoy three years of mediocrity before they jump to the NFL.

Is St. Markus really the one that started calling this class the "dream team"? Do the gimmicks never end with this man?

Yeah, he started it. Probably takes them all to his place for a game of foosball too.

MUCH easier schedule for uga next year = feeding the hype machine for their patented "next year" ideology.

I think UGA stands a good chance of winning the East on schedule alone.

I would be surprised to see them with fewer that 8 wins.

But 8 or less with losses to GT and UF will be the end of Richt.

Wait, why do Tech fans want Richt fired? Yeah, I know he's 2-1 against Paul Johnson, but could have been 1-2 (last year's game). If they get someone else who can actually use the talent, then everyone would be screwed, imo.

Any change in Athens would be good. The uncertainty would help us in recruiting and we should get at least one easy win over them from it, which will again help us recruit.

And if we recruit well for two years in a row we could be strong enough to stand against them even if they do get a good coach, while torching the ACC.

Richt owns us. I will be happy for PJ to finish 2-2 with him as he boots him out the door.

And knowing UGA they would make some idiotic hire like Derek Dooley and all would be well.

Dadgum it, I would like him to stay so we could beat him more than just twice.

Kirby Smart would take the ugag job..

I just dont see uga beating S carolina, Auburn, or Florida.. I think the fourth loss could come from us or miss state..hell even Tenn if they dont show up to play. Remember ugag lost to colorado WITH AJ...Wasn't colorado the only school that fired their coach half way through the year?

UGAy losses: Boise St, SCar, UT, Flarda, Kentucky, Auburn, GT. I think they'll also drop one of Ole Miss/Miss St.

My reasoning:
1)Their defensive coach has no damn clue whatsoever and seems to get burned to the bare earth by any play containing misdirection.
2)Mike Bobo still has no damn clue whatsoever, and he's losing the #1 receiver in the nation. Murray licks nuts as a QB, and we saw how well his first 4 games went without green. Hell, we saw how his fifth game went against Colorado when Green accounted for 21 of UGAy's 27 losing points. Their offense has produced very well even given this because of their overall bigness. Without their freak WR they are going to be making the same transition this season that we did last season. Their offense will continue to produce, but it will no longer allow them to win the shootouts on their schedule, which will be any team with a pulse.
3)Half of the "Dream Team" will be incarcerated at some point in the season anyway. This team will literally never be at full strength unless they think the game is of critical importance and schedule their suspensions around it. This will only happen for two teams, Florida and Auburn, and they have no chance in hell of beating either of them.

I disagree with 1. He was a good coach in the pros. If they get john jenkins on Saturday then their defense will be top 25 easy.

2 is absolutely correct about bobo, but dead wrong about Murray. Murray played very well for a freshman qb. I do think his stats will decrease this yr, partly bc of bobo and partly bc of aj, and Durham both leaving, but Murray wasn't the problem at uga last yr.

3 I hope you are absolutely correct, and from recent history you probably will be.

Sidenote: hope you are right about all 3 of these and that uga does go 4-8 this season. They'd fire richt, hire Dooley, have expectations higher than they are already, and run him outta town after 2 or 3 6-8 win seasons.

If Richt gets fired, who would they go for? It would be interesting to see if they increase the salary to buy whoever they want. They certainly have the profits....

They lacked a decent run game last year and this Crowell kid could easily be their Marcus Latimore.

ugag still has the talent to make it to the SECCG.
