Welcome to the Jungle

After the intro it is a great tempo to jump up and down to, and I can't think of another team in the Southeast that uses it so it wouldn't be copying.

Its hard enough to appeal to people that like rap, but also has the classic rock aspect for all those middle ages white alumni, and students that think its still the 1980s.

It could be the song in the player into video (like "all I do is win" last year) and also we could play the intro on 3rd/4th downs when we are on defense (before the band's loud tuning notes), and other obvious times to pump up the crowd.

GSU is doing it for their intro.

Can't do it. We don't want to rip off little brother now do we?

we couldnt do katy perry "I kissed a girl"..because most of you haven't

We'd be stealing it from the Braves who used to do it every at bat for Chipper Jones. Besides, this guy hasn't been cool in 20 years.

That and the Carolina Panthers have had this song on repeat for the last 15 years.

I like the rap, I sincerely hope we stick with it. It's energetic, we generally choose songs with inspiring lyrics, the players love it, and white people can listen to it too, it's O-KAY.

And not the GtGs either, though I appreciate their hard work and unfaltering nerd pride in the face of criticism.

Welcome to the Jungle

That is so old. Its one step removed from Bad to the Bone.

Why not let the players nominate and vote to choose the pump-it-up song. If it works for them, it works for me.

Hair bands? 80s? Nyet.

How about that song "Ya had a bad day" because unless our O figures something out we might have a lot of bad days :)

how bout this:

Er, "Crazy Train"?

JRjr

Chipper definitely has Crazy Train as his walk up song. Has used that for years, except for a brief stint the past few years using the Trick Daddy/ Lil Jon remix.

Welcome to the Jungle's not bad, but like I've said before (and this is from the perspective of a student/knowing players) they definitely need/want rap intros and pump up songs.

In the 90's maybe til about 2002 it was Welcome to the Jungle. Crazy Train came after that.
