Finally the Institute is given the green light to expand its majors. None of the usual political BS....GT is free to expand.

But there is a catch....GT cannot expand much beyond what it already is. New degrees much be Bachelor of Science degrees.

What majors would you expand to? List them in this thread.

And yes, the majors must appeal to a broad range of potential students and not be jock classes...BUT...help athletics.

I don't think Tech should add majors. We already have a bunch of majors for people who aren't interested in engineering. If I ran things I would get rid of some programs. Screw football.
 
Pumpkin Carving classes, and Plant Care classes. #UGAg.

I would add a college of education where all the classes are science degrees and they would be a full education school where GT can provide teachers for our government schools.

Plus I would offer a science degree in nursing as well.

Broadcasting with an internship at CNN and/or Turner Broadcasting.
 
We should dress Cheetah girls in gold and have them host recruits....as long as we're not concerned with a false advertising suit.

No, not a "College of Education" or "School of Education" because that implies we would have education degrees.

Create an education "department" within the college of Sciences that offers teaching certificates. So you could get a BS in Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc and go teach high school. But without a soft education major.
