i have been saying it for months in posts the guy is no good. I want to be wrong but everything so far is proving me right.

he puts his head in the sand and does not reach out to alumni or fans. He is the exact opposite of what GT needs to grow. My only hope is he is so good at running the programs internally, it overcomes the other shortcomings...its a hope right now not proven.

The problem is that he might be the one to pick our next two high profile coaches. We'll see.

Actually our 2014 class, especially the early enrollees on campus starting Sunday, are the best we've had since 2007.

Mediocre maybe. But a lot of schools would take 7-8 wins a season with a spot in the ACC Championship every couple years.

Not a "report". He just said "word is". If he was reporting it, he would have reported it and actually put his name behind it.

Attouchu should be drafted. Jemea might well make a team as a FA, but I think he'll probably be passed over in the draft because of measurables.

I think he'll make some team because of his special teams ability though.

Say what you will ... but the only news or press in the last month with Bobinski actually saying something in it is a late story about the NCAA holding the Swimming & Diving Championship at GT.

One page of results. Only one where he actually says anything.... and that story is from December 11th. To be fair, he also went on 680 two or three times in December to field some softballs from the UGAg radio network for five minutes. Outside of that ... nothing on the bowl. Nothing on the football program or season. Nothing on this basketball season. Nothing about any program. Nothing about the PJ-Feldman stuff.

If you're OK with an AD whose approach to work could be mistaken for wanting to be put on the back of a milk carton ... that's fine. But IMO, part of the job of an AD is to aggressively be the face of the athletics programs and not just participate in media stories ... but drive the messages the GTAA wants heard how they want them heard in the media. If you leave a vacuum ... the media will fill it. And then you lose control of messaging and you've disengaged the fans.

This is much worse if you're a big donor to the A-T Fund ... which I would consider to be investing in the future of the GTAA. Maybe you're one of those people who will willingly hand over big change to a mutual fund or ETF or investment manager and expect them to never touch base with you. But if it is my money, I want to be kept in the loop and feel like I'm more than just a line on a very very long excel spreadsheet or asset list.

(And I'm not "calling for the AD" ... but I am getting more and more uncomfortable with him.)
 
swagger, im sorry but you are a moron. if you expect the AD to make a statement because a kid is transferring from the football team then I dont know what planet you are from

and to make a thread whining about it is simply an attempt to pile on and act like a little whiny bitch complaining some more

grow a pair.

i doubt anybody on this board makes significant contributions. if they did, they could contact the AD and not have to whine on the internets
