I'd rather see the blockers just get in the way rather diving at their feet and whiffing.

Definitely one huge issue I have with our cut blocking. You whiff (which seems somewhat common) and suddenly its 11 defense vs 10 offense (or worse).

Offensive lineman are just rolling around on the ground after a whiffed cut block so all the defensive players have to do is jump or step over them.
